NT Come Follow Me 18

NT Come Follow Me Lesson 18 Introduction: ““I Am the Good Shepherd” John 10:24, 27 “My sheep hear my voice,” He said, “and I know them, and they follow me.” Those who seeking truth, recognize that Jesus’s words and teachings are good and that there is power in His words. Personal Study: As I live the truths taught by Jesus Christ, I will come to know they are true. John 7:14–17 If we do our Father’s will, we will know that what Jesus teaches is from God, and that God sent Him. Personal Study: The Savior’s mercy is available to all. NT Come Follow Me Lesson 17 Introduction: “What Shall I Do to Inherit Eternal Life?” My neighbor is anyone who needs my help? How willing am I to help? Think of all the people that you meet every day. Will you pray for more direction, so that the Lord can help you develop a desire to serve and to know how to serve? You don’t want to impede anyone else’s progress or your own. Forgiveness Will Change Bitterness to Love We do not need to provide opportunity for people to continually tres...

This is much the same pattern as the anti-christs in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. In contrast, Peter chose to accept the signs, and to recognize and accept Jesus as the Christ. Because of His belief and faith, the Spirit testified to Peter that Jesus is the Christ. His testimony was revealed to him by our “Father which is in heaven.”  Revelation  is the rock upon which the Savior built His Church then and now—revelation from heaven to His servants. And this is the rock upon which we can build our discipleship—revelation that Jesus is the Christ and that His servants hold “the keys of the kingdom.” When we are built upon this foundation, “the gates of hell shall not prevail against [us]” ( Matthew 16:15–19 ). Personal Study: A testimony of Jesus Christ co...
